We want to be able to offer skin friendly nose jewelry to all who get their nose pierced. That is why we have chosen to work with specially selected, pure medical grade titanium. If the titanium jewelry has a coating, it will only be on the parts that do not come into contact with the skin. Our piercing jewelry for the nose has been developed in consultation with skin specialists, so that it is suitable for everyone, even those who already know that they are allergic.

The jewelry we use for nose piercing with Blomdahl is not ordinary nose jewelry. It has been specially designed to facilitate the initial healing process and to make it easy for you to switch to ordinary nose jewelry once the healing process is over.
Nose jewelery that facilitates healing
Our piercing jewelry for the nose is lightweight and comfortable. For hygienic reasons, there is no clasp inside the nose. Instead, the piercing jewelry has an olive shaped tip that helps hold it in place during the healing process. With a new piercing, it is important that it is kept airy for optimal healing. Because the width of the nostril and space inside the nose can vary from one person to the next, our nose piercing jewelry is available in two different lengths.
Because the hole of a new piercing tends to shrink, we also made the post a bit thicker, which is why the hole will be a bit larger, at first. It helps ensure that the new, sensitive skin is less easily damaged when you switch to a different piece of nose jewelry.

To be kept airy, it’s important that the piercing earring has the right length. For slightly thicker earlobes Blomdahl has piercing earrings with extra long posts.
Safer to change earrings
Blomdahl’s piercing earrings have been designed so that the holes will be slightly wider in the beginning and thereby not get so easily damaged when you change earrings.

Only 2% of people are born with Nickel Allergy but this jumps to 25% if pierced with an earring which contains nickel. That’s why Blomdahl earrings are developed in consultation with skin specialists and suitable for everyone, even if one already has an allergy.
